Since the website launch last year, we have been busy behind the scenes building the site, principally adding resource information with the main focus on the ‘Brontë-Pedia’ section. We hope that you like the interactive map which highlights many of the key places that were central to the Brontës lives. We’ve tried to include the obvious locations, but also perhaps the lesser-known areas where they visited or stayed in an attempt to provide as much information as possible and a better picture of their movements.
We have also been extensively working on the Chronology section, which we feel now gives an impressive in-depth timeline of the events in their lives and have decided to start with the births of the parents of Patrick & Maria in order to lay the foundations for what was to come. Both the interactive map and the timeline will continue to be added to as and when new information is researched as we look to add a whole host of resource-rich features in the near future.
